Frequently Asked Questions
What materials can you spin?
We can spin mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper.
Do you have manual metal spinning capabilities?
Unfortunately, we don’t have any manual metal spinners. Everything is spun on one of our three CNC spinning machines.
Can you do prototypes?
Yes we can. Though, the only way we can do it is with steel tooling. Thus, if you are only after a concept with no intention to progress into a full production quantity, it might not be economical to proceed with steel tooling.
How long is your lead time?
Our current lead time is 4-6 weeks. Current customers can expect parts within 4 weeks if there are no subcontracting processes involved.
What is the biggest size you can spin?
We can fit blank sizes up to 1.1m on our machine.
